It is a blessing to have you visit us. We hope this website will be of resource to you. Liregu Christian Grace Ministries is a non-denominational faith based organization which was established in 2002. It is currently committed to spreading God's word in Northern Uganda, East Africa.

We are also involved in community development work aimed at improving the socio-economic status and quality of life of the needy communities through well planned community development programmes.

The unique element about our ministry is that we are practical, accountable and result oriented. We are community based and we always involving our community in all our program processes. Key on our agenda is challenging and encouraging communities to grow economically and all other aspects of life to be self-reliant.

We value collaborating and building meaningful partnerships/relationships aimed at causing positive change in our society. To this end, we warmly invite and welcome you to work with us.

To provide christian care for body, mind and soul through well planned integrated programs in evangelism and community development aimed at empowering communities in Northern Uganda.

CHURCH PLANTING	WHERE WE WORK
Since 2002, we have planted 19 bible teaching and believing churches in eastern and northern Uganda. Most of our churches are planted in very remote villages with a strategic focus of reaching the unchurched and those with limited access of the true gospel of Christ. Our church plants are led by very committed local Pastors who attach high value to the scriptures and believe in being relevant to the community they serve to influence and generate total change. [Read More.]	We are currently working in Northern Uganda. This region hosted Africa's longest running war between the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels and the government of Uganda. The war displaced and claimed the lives of thousands of people over the past two decades with one of the principal offenders being the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a spiritualist rebel group known for its extreme brutality on the civilian population.[Read More]

LIREGU is active in organizing and leading missions in Uganda. We would love to host you, your Church, ministry or organization. Your mission to Uganda may be may be short or long-term depending on the objective (s). We organize our missions according to the mutually agreed goals and expectations of international missions wishing to come, reach, minister and empower communities in Uganda with the true word and love of God; relief (material, equipment, financial, skills and services); and community development programmes.
